• MyHPBS encourages all participants to submit the abstract of interesting cases to be presented during the conference.

• Participants are invited to submit an abstract(s) for consideration by the Congress Committee on or before 28.8.2024. ( extended dateline : 15/9/2024)

• All delegates who registered for MyHPB Congress are eligible to submit abstracts

• Papers must not have been presented/published elsewhere.

• The Committee reserves the right to decide on the final mode of presentation and to select the abstracts relevant to the sessions.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

1. Abstracts must be submitted in English

2. Text must be typewritten in Times New Roman, font size min 12.

3. There are 3 categories of presentation;

             Original Article (Oral presentation) 

             How I Do It : Video Presentation (Oral Presentation) 

             Case Report (e-poster)

   4.  At least ONE author must register to the main congress to allow them to submit the abstract.

   5.  There is no limitation in term of number of abstracts sent by the participant.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE (ABSTRACT GUIDELINE)

1. The abstract of this category should be based on a study or research conducted within the topic Hepatopancreaticobiliary discipline.

2. The abstract should be written in standard format :

              . Title

              . Authors & Affiliation

              . Introduction

              . Methodology

              . Results

              . Conclusion

   3. Number of words should not exceed 500 words

HOW I DO IT : VIDEO PRESENTATION (ABSTRACT GUIDELINE)

1. The abstract of this category should be based on interesting videos either operative or procedures within the topic Hepatopancreaticobiliary discipline

2. The abstract should be written in standard format :

              . Title

              . Authors & Affiliation

              . Introduction

              . Case Presentation

              . Discussion

              . Conclusion

   3. Number of words should not exceed 250 words

For this category, the participants must also send the video in 3 minutes duration in another separate video file

CASE REPORT (ABSTRACT GUIDELINE)

1. The abstract of this category should be based on interesting cases or disease within the topic Hepatopancreaticobiliary discipline.

2. The abstract should be written in standard format :

• The Top 3 best submission will be announced on 20th of September 2024.

• The participants will be informed via email to prepare the final round.

• The Top 3 best submissions will present their research, video and case report during the congress to select the winner for each categories.
